The majestic Edwardian Boulder Town Hall located on Burt Street is home to the Goldfields War Museum, City Archives and Goatcher Theatre Curtain.
The newly completed Goldfields War Museum was opened on 7 January 2019 and the Goldfields region has a rich military history that is reflected in the collection. Here you will see uniquely interesting stories and personal artefacts showcasing the involvement of Goldfields people in times of war.
The City Archives hold a wide collection of research resources including a well-stocked local history and military history specialist library. The highly significant theatre curtain, painted by Philip Goatcher is also not to be missed!
The Boulder Town Hall, Goldfields War Museum and City Archives are open Monday to Friday: 10.00am to 4.00pm, and Boulder Market Day, the third Sunday of the month, from 10.00am to 12.00 noon.
