About Esperance CCI

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-for-profit, non-government organisation, working as the voice of private enterprise in Esperance. Our mission is to help cultivate an environment in the Esperance region where businesses, new or existing, can thrive.

The Chamber undertakes a number of activities, projects and programs, all with the ultimate aim of empowering business for our community. 

BUSINESS LOCAL

The Esperance CCI, in conjunction with the Kalgoorlie-Boulder CCI are the proud new proponents of Business Local, a free advisory service for new and existing businesses. We provide free, confidential and practical assistance on a wide range of business related issues, including but not limited to:

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The annual Business Excellence Awards recognises and celebrates business excellence in the Esperance community. The evening allows the Esperance business community to acknowledge the quality, diversity, resilience and ingenuity of Esperance and the South East region’s finest businesses. This event acknowledges organisations and individuals that have played a massive role in the community.

OVER THE HORIZON 

Held in conjunction with the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission, Over The Horizon is the ECCI’s annual business and industry forum.  Over The Horizon provides a full insight on what’s happening today and what’s to come ahead in the future for the Esperance Goldfields region.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS 

This is a members-only, monthly networking event that’s extremely popular, and provide a friendly and relaxed environment that creates new, and extend, business relationships. Business After Hours events are hosted by different businesses each month and these functions are great opportunities to showcase your business.

OTHER EVENTS

The ECCI hosts a number of additional events in order to bring businesses to Esperance and stimulate the region’s economy. These events have included the 2013 WA Coastal Conference, the 2012 Town Centre Revitalisation Conference and the 2014 and 2016 Home and Lifestyle Expo.

REGULAR NEWS UPDATES 

The ECCI provides informative and up to date news on local issues, regional opportunities and activities, events, networking and training opportunities through its weekly updates and twice-yearly newsletters for all members.

TRAINING 

The ECCI knows and understands the importance of continual up-skilling, and partners with others that provide training to offer practical and relevant high quality workshops and training sessions. The ECCI places a high value on investing in the future leaders of Esperance, and ran a Future Leaders Program in 2013. The programme developed the skills of 10 future leaders, and was very well received. The programme will run again in 2016. 

ECCI CCIWA PARTNERSHIP

The ECCI has signed a membership service agreement with CCIWA, meaning that CCIWA’s membership services will be made available to ECCI members. ECCI members that have less than 30 employees will receive these services for free, members that have over 30 employees will be able to utilise these services at a 50 per cent discount.
